Motility Software Data Breach Class Action Settlement

U.S. residents whose Private Information was impacted in Motility Software Solutions' August 2025 data incident (you were sent a notice). For the ~$75 alternate cash payment, no documentation is required; documented-loss claims of up to $5,000 require proof. All claimants can also get two years of free credit monitoring.

Motility Software Solutions, Inc. — a dealership-management software provider used by RV, marine, powersports, and trailer dealers — reached a $4,949,500 settlement over an August 2025 cybersecurity incident that potentially exposed class members' Private Information, including names, postal and email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and driver's license numbers. Motility denies wrongdoing but agreed to settle. The settlement class is all U.S. residents impacted in the incident.

Who's excluded: Class members who exclude themselves by August 7, 2026 get no benefits but keep the right to sue separately. Anyone not impacted by the August 2025 Motility incident is not covered. Cash payments may be reduced pro rata depending on the total value of valid claims.

• Alternate cash — ~$75 (no proof)

  Submit a claim with no documentation to receive an estimated $75 pro rata cash payment. The amount may adjust up or down based on how many valid claims are filed.

• Documented losses — up to $5,000

  Instead of the flat cash, submit reasonable documentation of fraud or identity-theft losses tied to the breach for reimbursement of up to $5,000.

• Two years of credit monitoring

  In addition to either cash option, you can claim two years of free credit monitoring services.
