What is this settlement about?
A $59.5 million settlement resolves Frasco et al. v. Flo Health, Inc. (Northern District of California). Plaintiffs alleged that between November 1, 2016 and February 28, 2019, Flo embedded software development kits (SDKs) from Flurry, Meta, and Google into the app, and those SDKs shared users' sensitive menstruation and pregnancy data with the third parties without valid consent — alleged violations of California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, the Invasion of Privacy Act, the state constitution, and contract law. The fund is paid by Google ($48M), Flo ($8M), and Flurry ($3.5M). They deny wrongdoing. Note: Meta refused to settle and went to trial — a jury found Meta liable in August 2025 (Meta is appealing); any Meta recovery is separate, and filing here does not waive it.
Who's excluded: Not eligible if you opted out during the June 2025 notice (opt-out deadline July 20, 2025 has passed) or fall within standard exclusions (defendants, their officers/directors, the judges, and counsel). Payments calculated below $1.00 are not issued.
How much can you get?
Nationwide claim — 1 share (pro rata)
The net fund (after fees, costs, taxes, and service awards) is split pro rata. Each nationwide claimant gets one share. No receipts — you attest under penalty of perjury that you used the app and entered menstruation/pregnancy data during the class period.
California subclass — 2 shares
California residents who used the app in California during the class period receive twice the pro rata share, reflecting stronger California medical-privacy and wiretap statutory damages. May require reasonable proof of California residency.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need proof for the Flo settlement?+
No documentation is required for the standard nationwide claim — you attest under penalty of perjury that you used the Flo app and entered menstruation/pregnancy data during the class period. You can file even without a Unique ID/PIN. California subclass members may need to confirm residency for the double share.
How much will I get?+
A pro rata share of the net fund. California subclass members get two shares (double). The exact amount depends on how many valid claims are filed; payments under $1.00 aren't issued.
Is Meta part of this settlement?+
No. The $59.5M is from Google, Flo, and Flurry. Meta didn't settle — a jury found Meta liable in August 2025, and that recovery is separate. Filing here doesn't waive a future Meta payment.
